SpringCharts is written in Java and therefore requires
Java to run on any computer platform.
To check your version of Java, follow these three simple
steps:
Windows: Open a Command Prompt (sometimes
called MS-DOS Prompt). You can find this program by clicking on the Start
menu on the lower left side of your screen. Select Programs/Accessories/Command
Prompt (or MS-DOS Prompt).
Macintosh: Open a Terminal. You will find
this program in your Application folder inside the Utilities folder.
Linux: Open a Terminal
Emulation Program window.
java . -version
Your computer will tell you which version of Java is currently
installed. Below is the output from a typical Windows computer:

If you do not have the Java 6™ Update 17 on your system, you should
download and install it now.
To install Java on your systems,
select the Java for your operating system from this list:
