Spring Medical Systems Partners with Aqua Connect to Provide Secure
Remote Access for Mac Customers

Aqua Connect Enables HIPPA compliant Remote Access for SpringCharts® EHR

November 16, 2010 - Los Angeles, CA and Houston, Texas—Aqua Connect Inc., the provider of the only enterprise grade Mac terminal server, and Spring Medical Systems, Inc., a leading provider of software solutions for small- and medium-sized medical practices, today announced a partnership to provide secure remote access for SpringCharts®EHR Mac customers.

Aqua Connect and Spring Medical have created a joint solution that provides HIPPA complaint remote access for Mac users of SpringCharts – a leading electronic health records (EHR) software application. With Aqua Connect Terminal Server, SpringCharts users can remotely access SpringCharts from any Mac, iPad, or PC with an Internet connection.

SpringCharts EHR can be deployed from Apple hardware running OS X server software with Aqua Connect Terminal Server installed.  For small- and medium-sized practices, the Macmini server is an ideal solution for up to fifteen concurrent users.  The Mac Pro can be utilized for larger deployments that support more users or multiple remote offices.
