Spring Medical Convenes First Meeting of Company Medical Advisory Council
14 leading physicians from around US meet to provide development insight
January 14, 2009 - Houston, Texas—Spring Medical Systems, a leading provider of electronic health records (EHRs) for small- and medium-sized medical practices, today held the first meeting of the Spring Medical Systems Medical Advisory Council. The group is a key component of the company’s strategy to ensure that its EHR and complementary products are the best available for small- to medium-sized medical practices.
The Group consists of leading physicians of various specialties from around the country. Each is a long-term user of the company’s SpringCharts® EHR product and brings established expertise in both medical practice operations and Healthcare Information Technology. Collectively, the 14 physicians on the council represent many years of hands-on experience with EHR use in practice, and is an invaluable resource to the Spring Medical Development Team in the design of new EHR products, features and functions.
